Plywood, a creation of the engineered wood industry, is a type of artificial fiberboard created by pressing many thin pieces of veneered wood with glue under the effect of heat and force to create a board with a thickness depending on the user's requirements. With its advantages such as durability, brightness, hardness, tensile strength, and physical stability against buckling, shrinkage, and twisting, plywood is used in products that require great stability.

Applications
Currently, plywood is used for many different projects, contributing to improving the quality and aesthetics of each space used. There are 4 main types of products:

Regular plywood (MR glue) is used to make furniture.
Water-resistant plywood (Phenolic or Melamine glue): Includes formwork plywood and regular water-resistant plywood. Used to make wooden furniture which direct contact with water or high humidity such as door cores and kitchen shelves.
Marine plywood: Hardwood core and surface. Water-resistant glue. Used to manufacture boats and canoes.
Fancy plywood: A thin plywood (6mm), covered with a layer of veneer, usually at least 0.2mm in thickness, commonly used for furniture.

Currently, Thanh Thuy manufactures and supplies highly durable plywood with diverse dimensions (1220mmx2440mm, 1220mmx1220mm, 1000mmx2000mm) and thicknesses (4mm-22mm) made from many different wood materials.
